Wine and pizza might seem like an unlikely pairing, but when done right, the combination can elevate both the wine and the pizza to new heights. Our sommelier has spent months perfecting pairings that complement our wood-fired pizzas, and we're excited to share some of our favorites with you.

Classic Pairings

The Margherita D.O.C., with its simple combination of tomato, mozzarella, and basil, pairs beautifully with a light Chianti Classico. The wine's bright acidity cuts through the richness of the buffalo mozzarella while complementing the sweetness of the San Marzano tomatoes.

For our Diavola Brooklyn with its spicy salami and Calabrian chilies, try a bold Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The wine's robust fruit flavors and moderate tannins can stand up to the heat while the earthy undertones complement the wood-fired crust.

Unexpected Combinations

Our Quattro Formaggi, with its blend of four Italian cheeses, might seem like it would pair with a heavy red wine, but we've found that a crisp Vermentino from Sardinia creates a beautiful contrast. The wine's mineral notes and bright acidity cleanse the palate between bites of the rich, creamy pizza.

The Prosciutto San Daniele, topped with 24-month aged prosciutto and wild arugula, finds its perfect match in a glass of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene. The bubbles lift the saltiness of the prosciutto while the wine's subtle pear notes complement the peppery arugula.
